Meet our Providers
Primary Care/Internal Medicine Doctor
Dr. Larry J. Maturani is an internist in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and is affiliated with multiple hospitals including UPMC Altoona and J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital. He received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is very excited to begin serving the community of Morehead City through his private practice Atlantic Coast Medical Center PC.
Primary Care/Internal Medicine Doctor
Dr. Davis is a Board certified Physician that specializes in internal medicine and psychology. He graduated from The Brody School of Medicine in 1993 and worked at Down East Medical until going into private practice in Morehead City, NC in 1998. Since then he has served on the board of directors for the local hospital and remains the head Medical Director for the hospital’s home health and hospice program. He was voted Physician of the Year of Carteret County in 2013.
Primary Care/Internal Medicine
Beth Smith, FNP-C is a nurse practitioner with 8 years of nursing experience in various areas. She is a Goldsboro NC native who has a life-long love of the coast. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and kids on the island or the boat. Beth prioritizes preventative health care and is eager to treat those acutely-ill and in need of weight loss counseling.
Primary Care/Internal Medicine
Regina M. Newton, AGNP-C, is a graduate of East Carolina University. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2013 and Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2010. She has been a licensed registered nurse in North Carolina since 2003. She is certified as an adult gerontology nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse practitioners. She has extensive clinical experience including cardiology and cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. She focuses on acute and chronic illness, health promotion, and disease prevention from a patient-centered, holistic and cost effective approach. She grew up in Morehead City and enjoys spending time with family, beekeeping, hiking, reading, and paddle boarding.
